Rial Moulton brings a diversity of experience to his estate and financial planning practice.  His legal background is supplemented not only by training as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified financial planner™ professional, but by extensive work in the field of taxation as well.  Mr. Moulton has also been awarded the designation of Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts.  Several years as an entrepreneur in the world of retailing adds yet another dimension to Mr. Moulton’s skills. His private practice is focused on the areas of advanced estate planning, tax law and Medicaid planning.

An experienced and well regarded speaker, Mr. Moulton hosted his own radio show called “Financial Focus” on one of Spokane’s largest radio stations. He also regularly presents seminars to public and private groups.

Mr. Moulton began his legal career with Winston and Cashatt in Spokane, handling tax and estate planning for the firm. His legal work for a public company in the retail/wholesale business resulted in a position as chief financial officer with the company, which in turn provided Mr. Moulton the opportunity to found a similar business in Canada. After its profitable sale, Mr. Moulton returned to the practice of estate and financial planning in Spokane. Mr. Moulton is licensed to practice in Washington and Idaho and is a member of the American, Washington State and Spokane County Bar Associations, as well as the Spokane Estate Planning Council, the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys and Wealth Council.

Mr. Moulton’s Juris Doctorate is from the Seattle University School of Law, where he was elected to the Law Review. He also holds a master’s degree in taxation awarded summa cum laude by Golden Gate University.
